As usual, here I sit ugly crying after I finish reading a Colleen Hoover novel. Her novels always have such a way of pulling you in and taking you on an emotional journey.
When I started the book and we began to get to know Kenna and her story started to slowly unravel, I instantly knew she wasn't a bad person. I got very good vibes from her and knew I wanted to hear more of her story. I wanted to know what happened to her and why.
Ledger was such a good man in an impossible situation, just like Kenna. I love that, with his friends insistence, he checked in on Kenna and began to get to know her and hear her version of events.
I loved that every single person in this book was flawed. They weren't good or bad, just had their own beliefs and grief to work through. I truly enjoyed this book from start to finish. The beginning left me wanting more and the end tied it all up nicely for me!
Brava Ms Hoover!

This book was very predictable for the most part but I still enjoyed every page!
The hero was very down to earth and honest with the heroine about his feelings and issues and I enjoyed his take on what it means to be famous. I felt our hero and heroine had great chemistry and I loved the build up of their relationship. I’m also always a sucker for happy endings so I was glad this book had one, the characters certainly earned it!
The heroine being a bit childish did annoy me, but she is just that a child of 22 or 23? Her friend Lexi was even more childish but again, she is a child, and I have to often remind myself that not everyone was 21 going on 40 like I was at that age. I did enjoy Lexi and Zoe’s friendship and how close they were and what they were willing to do in the name of friendship.
I enjoyed this book and am definitely interested in checking out more books by this author in the future.

I really wanted to like this book as I'm a fan of the author but it just came up lacking.
The beginning was well written and wasn't too fast or slow. The middle and end were too rushed. I found myself speed reading just to finish the book because I wanted to see how it ended. The middle of the book felt off to me and at the end there were way too many loose ends that I felt weren't wrapped up.
I enjoyed the characters, what we knew about them, but I didn’t like how one dimensional they seemed. I wanted to know more about who they were inside, what made them tick. I just felt like the book needed more; more time for the characters to fall in love, more special moments, more about the outcome with Lizzies parents and the FNC. I wanted more and this book didn't deliver it.
